Dear Friends and Supporters of Bašta Mira,
For August 2026, we are looking for teenagers and young adults who would like to take part in a special project:
Together, we will build a permanent outdoor stage in the Bašta Mira Peace Garden in Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, creating a place for theater, music, community gatherings, and peacebuilding activities.
This project is about much more than just building a stage. It is about creating something lasting together, taking responsibility, developing practical skills, and connecting with people from different countries.
Who Can Participate?
Youth groups, school classes, scout groups, volunteers, and individual young people who are interested in taking part in a meaningful international project.
What Can You Expect?
When?
Starting on August 17, 2026, for approximately 14 days.
The exact dates can be adjusted and agreed upon flexibly within a suitable time frame.
Costs
Please arrange your own travel to Sarajevo by plane or bus.
Accommodation in tents at a large campsite with sanitary facilities is provided free of charge.
Please bring your own sleeping bag and sleeping mat. Tents will be provided.
A contribution of €8 per person per day is required to cover meals.
If you know any young people who enjoy teamwork, hands-on projects, cultural exchange, and meeting people from different countries, please feel free to share this invitation with them.
