Overnight stay on the mountain property

A special highlight of the school trip or youth retreat is staying in tents on our mountain property in Visoko, right in the heart of nature on a beautifully designed campsite. In case of damp or cold weather, the nearby seminar house serves as a cozy meeting point, and the kitchen is available for preparing meals together.

An unforgettable nature experience full of adventure and community is waiting to be discovered by the youth.

Educational Highlights on-site

Our activities and workshops strengthen team spirit, self-confidence, and intercultural understanding. Musical and artistic projects, as well as cooking together—partially using ingredients from our own garden—create vibrant moments for learning and connection. Outdoor activities such as hiking or white-water rafting on the Neretva complement the nature-based experiences.

The establishment of a biodynamic permaculture garden, alongside smaller construction projects, enables hands-on learning while contributing to the development of our shared space for the future.

Culture and History

A visit to the Bosnian capital with the medieval Baščaršija (the historical bazaar), the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and the impressive architecture from the Austro-Hungarian era offers fascinating insights into history. Numerous historic sites, such as the Latin Bridge—where Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were assassinated—tell the stories of significant events.

A day trip to the magical pyramids in Visoko, located within walking distance, rounds off the experience and is an absolute must for both young people and adults alike.

We handle the complete organization of your stay in Bosnia—from accommodation and catering to all local activities—ensuring a safe and unforgettable experience for the youth. Please note that general liability insurance should be provided by the respective organization visiting the Friedensgarten.
